Who We Are
Princeton Deliverance Center is a 501(c)(3) organization that has been diligently serving the inner-city of Trenton, New Jersey for over 47 years via various programs such as Food Bank (bi-weekly distribution), Outreach, Healthy Eating, Parents Supporting Parents, Counseling, and other ministries.
We currently serve approximately 600 families each month which accounts for almost two thousand individuals of adults and children. We consistently provide food, baby necessities, clothes and shoes to the surrounding area on a regular basis. Through donations, grants and your support, our reach to the needy can be expanded so that no one goes hungry, cold or unsheltered in our community.
Church History
In October 1973 God directed Bishop Odell Bradley, Sr. and Pastor Rose Mary Bradley to start a ministry. During the early years of the ministry they were faithful to God and to the Deliverance Ministries, under the leadership fo the late Apostle Arturo Skinner. Because of their faithfulness, God brought forth Princeton Deliverance Center, Inc. The first location of the church was in the Borough of Princeton, New Jersey (Birch Avenue)
In 1980 Princeton Deliverance Center, Inc. relocated to the city of Trenton and was placed in a key area known as “The Five Points”. Shortly after purchasing the building, the church was blessed to purchase the building directly next door, where a soup kitchen and drug program were held. The church became a symbol of hope in an area that desperately needed it. The Five Points was an area where drugs, alcohol and poverty all converged. In the middle of it all, there was a sign painted on the building that said, “Don’t look down, look up! Jesus loves you!” There are people who later testified how the “Don’t look down, look up” church sign encouraged them in their darkest hours. There were so many miracles and so many successful outreach ministry things done that it was hard to say goodbye to that building, but God had other and greater plans.
In 1996 God blessed Princeton Deliverance Center, Inc. to relocate to its current edifice on Southard Street. Another prime area that needed help, encouragement, and salvation! Princeton Deliverance Center is surrounded by the soup kitchen, several homeless shelters and transitional housing, clinics, and drug programs. The building was formerly the ‘Trenton Lunchbox’ and in less than six months it was transformed into His house of praise - it went from feeding the stomach to feeding he whole man! It is here that we continue to grow and reach out toe the community.
Today we have a food bank that services over 600 families per month. Our goal is to reach out to the people of this area and change lives. We seek to help all people accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord of their lives. Our motto is “Reach the Lost at Any Cost”! To God be the glory for the things that HE has done, is doing and will do for Princeton Deliverance Center!
